Preventing RFIs and Late Stage Design Changes with VR Coordination
Merrick & Company recently used InsiteVR across 4 different offices to aid in the design of the USDA-ARS modernization project at the Knipling-Bushland U.S. Livestock Insects Research Lab. Leading up to the 75% submission, different disciplines used VR meetings to review designs with the following results:
- Identified an average of 7 potential RFIs / hr in VR resulting in savings of roughly $7,000 and 56 hours of response time per VR meeting. 💰
- Improved communication between disciplines 💬
- Helped prevent design surprises ⚠️
